WE LOVE FUNDRAISING.

DOESN'T EVERYONE?

Mission

The answer is usually an emphatic NO to the above question.

We help nonprofits move towards a YES!

You could say that our mission is to help nonprofits LOVE fundraising.

7 Goals

1. Help nonprofits LOVE fundraising. [We'll even take like.]

2. Move nonprofits toward a donor-centered approach.

3. Create a long-term sustainable fundraising plan.

4. Help nonprofits build POWER through COMMUNITY.

5. Coach nonprofits toward an effective, organization-wide culture of fundraising. [Yes... including your board.]

6. Help nonprofits maintain uncompromising integrity when fundraising. [We lead by example.]

7. HAVE FUN and impact lives with AMAZING causes TOGETHER!

“When it comes to crowdfunding…garner support from your community and find people who share your vision.”

History

Shelly Watts started Thoughtful Missions out of a need to put action to her faith and heart for humanitarian causes such as fighting human trafficking, alleviating poverty and hunger, and providing access to medical care. She cares deeply about the profession of fundraising. She quickly wins people over with her fundraising knowledge, uncompromising integrity, high level of energy, and bubbly personality. She is a mother to three, loving wife, and devoted follower of Christ.

Props

Shelly has a remarkable knowledge of fundraising for nonprofits, especially in creating teams of advocates to multiply your mission. I appreciated working with her in running a crowdfunding campaign for Pioneers. It was our first, we learned a lot, and we blew away our fundraising goal.
